Timothy Jaeger, MD, FAAP
About Timothy Jaeger
Dr. Timothy Jaeger grew up in two places: Berwyn, Pennsylvania, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved due to his father’s job and enjoyed the opportunity to live in different places and experience their cultural differences. Before choosing medicine as a career, Dr. Jaeger completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Notre Dame and Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado, which led to his first teaching job Denver.
Although he enjoyed teaching, Dr. Jaeger felt compelled to serve his community by becoming a physician. After graduating from Tulane University School of Medicine, he completed his pediatric training at the University of Colorado, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Denver Health Medical Center.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Jaeger enjoys working with families. He believes that for a child to be healthy and succeed in life, the efforts, attention, and empathy of an entire family are required. “When I have a family willing to work with me to find the right way to address a child’s health needs, I feel great about what we are doing for that patient and the potential for success,” he explains. He is inspired by the resilience of children, having witnessed firsthand some of the challenges that kids with chronic illnesses face and how children of all ages take adversity in stride.
Key skills that he brings to his practice include effective communication abilities, experience working with a wide range of families, and the highest quality training from a top pediatric residency program. “My residency training was second to none and has exposed me to almost every variation of disease processes. This enables me to diagnose and treat patients efficiently and with significant care for their needs.” He also believes that his time as a teacher gave him unique experience and insight into the challenges that many kids and their families face.
In his free time, Dr. Jaeger enjoys working in his garden, teaching, spending time with his three children, and enjoying good food with his wife when they have the freedom to do so.

He offers well and sick visits, incision and drainage, circumcision, wart care and nail-related procedures. He is fluent in Spanish.
