Boulder Medical Center Adopts Epic/MyChart
On Monday, September 9, Boulder Medical Center upgraded to Epic, a leading healthcare technology system. With this change, we introduced MyChart, a new patient portal that has replaced the previous NextGen portal.
Understanding the Relationship Between Boulder Medical Center MyChart and MyBCH by Boulder Community Health
Boulder Medical Center utilizes Epic and MyChart through the Epic Community Connect program in collaboration with Boulder Community Health (BCH). This integration allows you to easily access your medical records, benefit from enhanced care coordination, and connect with any other organization that uses the Epic/MyChart platform—providing greater flexibility and convenience in managing your healthcare.
Boulder Medical Center remains an independent group of physicians, as we have been for the past 75 years. Our collaboration with Epic enhances the quality and affordability of the care we deliver without changing our commitment to personalized, patient-centered care. Since 1949, we’ve been dedicated to serving our community as an independent practice, which will not change.
How to Sign Up / Login
If you have a Boulder Community Health (MyBCH) MyChart Account
-
- Log In Here using the same credentials (username and password) as your Boulder Community Health MyBCH account. Boulder Medical Center is now integrated into the Epic Community Connect program through Boulder Community Health (BCH).

Provider Messaging Availability
Due to our recent switch from our previous patient portal to MyChart, messaging will be available only after a patient has had their first visit with their provider in Epic. MyChart offers many features to help you manage your healthcare, and we look forward to engaging with you through this platform to support your care.
MyChart Proxy Access for Family Members
MyChart lets you view and manage a family member’s health records by setting up proxy access. Proxy access is typically granted to parents or guardians of minors, legal guardians for adults, or individuals with healthcare power of attorney. Court-appointed guardians or other legally recognized representatives may also qualify.
