Internal Medicine involves the treatment of adults and adolescents (14 years & older) and includes both primary care and specialty care. We welcome new patients and all college students.

General Internal Medicine Includes:

• General physical exams
• Heart disease screening
• Manages chronic diseases, i.e. diabetes
• Same day appointments
• STD checks
• Dermatological procedures
• Blood pressure checks
• Cholesterol screening and treatment
• Well woman exams
• Preventative physicals

Some physicians in the department of Internal Medicine at the Boulder Medical Center accept both primary care and sub-specialty patients. Same day appointments are available by calling 303-440-3000. There is also an internist on call for emergencies at night and on weekends.
